Elinchrom, a leading manufacturer of professional lighting solutions is pleased to introduce its D-Lite studio flash kits, specifically designed to meet the needs of entry-level shooters. The kits will include two D Lite heads, two Softboxes, two light stands and bags, with estimated street pricing of under $900 for the 200W D-Lite 2 and under $1,100 for the 400W D-Lite 4. Both D-Lite kits will be on display in the Bogen Imaging booth, at this year’s PMA 2007 convention in Las Vegas. The new D-Lites combine Elinchrom’s legendary flash expertise with unsurpassed quality and lighting control, and allow photo enthusiasts to experience advanced lighting technology without breaking the bank.

The PMA, or Photo Marketing Association, continues a long tradition of maintaining a network of photo imaging as well as the experience and know-how of the industry. The PMA represents 20,000 members from over 100 countries, who are all active within the imaging industry. As a reflection of the changes in the market, the PMA organization has also changed and has become more diverse. Nowadays, the member group consists of representatives coming from photo retail, manufacturers, commercial photo labs, professional sports and news photography, in addition to small album print suppliers and photo processing centers. The PMA 2010 focuses on an industry which is heavily affected by the unstable situation of the global financial economy. However, whether the latter will also stand in the way of the innovation and product introductions, remains to be revealed by the PMA International Convention and Trade Show in the Anaheim Convention Center in Southern California, USA.
