iPhone review

Posted by: Ilse Jurrien Wednesday 9th, July 2008

The British company Continental Mobiles has been selling exclusive cell phones and iPods online since September 2006. Gold versions of various mobile phone brands and models are being sold. In addition, Continental Mobiles offer various mobile phones with embedded diamonds. All purchases are delivered with a so-called 'Gold Card', which stands for the exclusively British manufacturing of the product. Even though the Apple iPhone in itself is already a unique device, the combination with the additions of Continental Mobiles ensures that you, as a user, are guaranteed not to meet a similar device.

ATP GPS Review

Posted by: Dennis Hissink Thursday 15th, May 2008

The ATP Photo Finder comes in four different colours; besides the green with black model we tested, black/white, white/black and white/orange versions are also available. The bright green part feels a bit like rubber. The black parts, used for the edges of the GPS Photo tracker, are made of plastic. With its dimensions of 3x1.5x1 inch, I wouldn’t exactly call the ATP Photo Finder compact. However; the included carbine clip - completely carried out in black plastic- offers a great solution. Furthermore, the ATP Photo Finder features a 128x32 Dot Matrix FSTN monitor which puts this ATP a step ahead of the competition, since most GPS photo trackers lack a monitor. The monitor offers information about your position through coordinates and the current date and time. Besides the Photo Finder and the carbine clip, a mini USB cable and a quick user’s guide in English are included in the package. The whole set is delivered in a simple cardboard box.

As soon as you hold the Garmin GPS map 60CSx you are aware of the fact that it is a high quality product. The waterproof and shockproof housing not only feels solid but also has a perfect hand-fit. The large 1.5 inch x 2.2 inch TFT monitor stands out and is a 256 colour high resolution reflective colour monitor. With its dimensions of 2.4 x 6.1 x1.3 inches, the Garmin GPS is a tad too big to carry around in your trouser pocket.

Apple iPod Touch Review

Posted by: Dennis Hissink Saturday 15th, December 2007

The 16GB Apple iPod touch came in a surprisingly compact reatail box; only inches larger than the Apple iPod touch itself. The iPod box contains a quick guide in 6 languages, Apple earplugs, a USB cable, an iPod connector with a transparent hook, a polishing cloth for cleaning the iPod and of course the iPod itself. The iPod touch comes with a fully loaded battery, so it is not necessary to charge the battery before using the iPod touch. The Apple iPod touch has only one dedicated button at its disposal, just as the iPhone, with one function to return to the main menu or in case screen deactivation is on, to activate the screen of the Apple iPod in combination with a sliding movement on the touch screen.
