Samsung Electronics unveils its ultimate multimedia powerhouse with HD brilliance. Omnia HD is Samsung’s first Symbian full-touch handset, and features the world’s first 720P HD video recording and decoding on mobile, as well as the world’s largest AMOLED screen on mobile. Samsung Memoir

Samsung Telecommunications and T-Mobile announce the upcoming availability of the Samsung Memoir T929, a full touch-screen mobile phone equipped with an 8-megapixel camera and premium multimedia features, placing it among the highest quality imaging phones available in the US. The Samsung Memoir, available exclusively from T-Mobile, is designed to look and feel like a customer’s current point-and-shoot digital camera. The built-in 8-megapixel camera with Xenon flash, 16x digital zoom and five shooting modes empower customers to capture exceptional photos and videos from their phone - whether they’re on the go, on a vacation or just hanging out around the house.

Samsung G600 Review

Our colleagues over at LetsGoMobile have reviewed the 5 Megapixel Samsung G600 camera phone. According to LetsGoMobile: “Samsung have been active on the mobile phone market for quite some years now and already have several successes on their name. Nowadays, the mobiles get more and more extensive. In the beginning of this year the Nokia N95 was introduced; a mobile phone with a 5 Megapixel camera. Sony Ericsson followed with the K850i and now Samsung too with the G600. The Samsung G600 is a so-called slider mobile with extensive features, including a 5 Megapixel digital camera.” To make use the 5 Megapixel autofocus digital camera you need to open the G600 mobile phone.

Samsung SGH-U600 review

LetsGoMobile reviewed the Samsung U600 mobile phone. At the start of this year Samsung introduced a new mobile in their Ultra Edition line at the 3GSM in Barcelona. One of the phones introduced was the Samsung SGH-U600, also known as the Samsun Ultra Edition 10.9. The Samsung U600 is a mobile phone that appears at first glance to fulfil all the wishes of the average mobile phone user. Approximately 8% of the profits return to R&D so that Samsung can continually put new, innovative phones on the market. The Samsung U600 is a slider phone equipped with a 3.2 Megapixel autofocus digital camera with flash, an MP3 player and a microSD card with extendable memory and some touch sensitive keys.

Smart phones have been taking the wireless market by storm. Samsung Telecommunications America (Samsung) recognizes this growing trend with a focus to continue to provide consumers with slim. "The pressure on mobile professionals and business consumers to stay wired into their e-mail and Internet while away from the office continues to grow by leaps and bounds," said Dale Sohn, President, Samsung Telecommunications America. "To meet that need, Samsung has several quality messaging and smart phones that provide e-mail, voice and Internet services while remaining slim and sleek. The PMA, or Photo Marketing Association, continues a long tradition of maintaining a network of photo imaging as well as the experience and know-how of the industry. The PMA represents 20,000 members from over 100 countries, who are all active within the imaging industry. As a reflection of the changes in the market, the PMA organization has also changed and has become more diverse. Nowadays, the member group consists of representatives coming from photo retail, manufacturers, commercial photo labs, professional sports and news photography, in addition to small album print suppliers and photo processing centers. The PMA 2010 focuses on an industry which is heavily affected by the unstable situation of the global financial economy. However, whether the latter will also stand in the way of the innovation and product introductions, remains to be revealed by the PMA International Convention and Trade Show in the Anaheim Convention Center in Southern California, USA.
