Sony Ericsson unveiled the next step in its mobile evolution. The Entertainment Unlimited consumer proposition is the pinnacle of what the company has been working towards since the start of the joint venture in 2001 - the true fusion of mobile communication and entertainment. Bringing together rich content, unique applications and best in class entertainment experiences, the new consumer proposition is based around three key promises; Uniting best in class entertainment experiences into one offering such as the Walkman music experience, the Cyber-shot digital imaging experience, Java gaming and messaging integrated with services and applications.

Sony Ericsson announces the W660 - a Walkman phone which places an emphasis on style and feel. With a tactile finish that just begs to be touched, it's a classic-design 3G phone available in two distinctive colours, Record Black and Rose Red. Also introduced is a compact new music accessory, the Snap-on Speakers MPS-75, which let you play the tracks stored on your Walkman phone out loud. "The Sony Ericsson W660 has a finish that stands out among its peers," explains Steve Walker, Head of Product Marketing at Sony Ericsson. "Although the Sony- Ericsson W660 places the emphasis firmly on design, it is also a full member of our Walkman phone family, able to store several hundred full-length songs.

Sony Ericsson announces a the W610 Walkman phone. Build on the success of hit-models such as the W810 and to broaden the appeal of the Walkman phone. 20 million Walkman phones have been sold to date. Sony Ericsson also announces a suite of music accessories designed to enhance the Walkman phone listening experience. The W610 Walkman phone is all about the detail, whether this is detail in design that builds on the look of earlier Walkman phones or the detailed combination of mobile music with a credible digital camera. The Sony Ericsson W610 stores up to 470 full-length music tracks on the 512MB Memory Stick Micro (M2) provided, and offers the inventive TrackID music recognition application.

The PMA, or Photo Marketing Association, continues a long tradition of maintaining a network of photo imaging as well as the experience and know-how of the industry. The PMA represents 20,000 members from over 100 countries, who are all active within the imaging industry. As a reflection of the changes in the market, the PMA organization has also changed and has become more diverse. Nowadays, the member group consists of representatives coming from photo retail, manufacturers, commercial photo labs, professional sports and news photography, in addition to small album print suppliers and photo processing centers. The PMA 2010 focuses on an industry which is heavily affected by the unstable situation of the global financial economy. However, whether the latter will also stand in the way of the innovation and product introductions, remains to be revealed by the PMA International Convention and Trade Show in the Anaheim Convention Center in Southern California, USA.
